Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) which is an autonomous body under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India. The institute is engaged in the development of new drugs and diagnostics in various therapeutic areas. Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from the eligible persons of Indian Nationality for the following scientific and technical posts:- 
 
i. Scientist Gr. IV(1) : 06 posts (SC-01, ST-02, OBC-02 & PWD-01), Pay Scale : Rs. PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400,
ii. Scientist Gr.IV(2) : 14 posts (UR-14), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600,
iii. Scientist Gr.IV(3) : 15 posts (UR-15), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600,
iv. Technical Gr. III (6) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600,
v. Technical Gr. III (6) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600,
vi. Technical Gr. III (4) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.PB-3 Rs.15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400,
vii. Technical Gr. III (1) : 12 post (UR-6, Sc-2, ST-2, OBC-2), Pay Scale : Rs.PB-2 Rs.9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, 
Age limit : 28 years for Technical Gr. III (1), 35 years for Technical Gr. III(4) & Scientists Gr.IV (1), Gr.IV (2) and 40 years for Technical Gr. III (6) & Scientist Gr. IV (3). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & Persons with Disability/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Govt. of India orders will apply.
