Central Leather Research Institute, CLRI, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, CSIR, The Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, a National Laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research is one of the world’s premier institutes engaged in research in the area of Leather science and technology associated with several international and national programmes seeks to recruit in the following expertise areas at Scientist Gr. IV (2) and (3) level from talented and dynamic Indian Nationals for the following scientific positions.
 
A. Scientist B Gr.IV (3):
No of Post: 05 posts,
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600 To 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600,
Age Limit: A Candidate should not more than 40 years as on 18/09/2009). Relaxation as per rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent with at least four years of post Ph.D. Research/ Industrial experience in Bioorganic Chemistry area with good publication record.
B. Scientist B Gr.IV (1):
No of Post: 15 posts,
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600 To 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600,
Age Limit: A Candidate should not more than 35 years as on 18/09/2009). Relaxation as per rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience: 1st Class M Sc/Ph D in Biochemistry with 3 years of post qualification R&D Experience in Microbial fermentation for production of industrial enzymes.
