National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) established in 1958 with its headquarters at Nagpur and at present having five Zonal Laboratories across the country, is one of the constituent Institutes of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), a premier multi-disciplinary R&D organisation in India The Institute is engaged in Research & Development in the areas of Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Biotechnology, Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental System Design Modelling & Optimization, Environmental Impact & Risk Assessment, and Environmental Policy Analysis.

Applications are invited in the prescribed form from Indian Nationals for the following positions of Scientists. Selected candidates will be required to conduct Research &Development activities, work as a member of project team(s) in their respective disciplines/areas:-

1. Scientist, Group IV(1) : 14 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-
2. Scientist, Group IV(2) : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.10000-325-15200/-
3. Scientist, Group IV(3) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-375-16500/-
4. Scientist, Group IV(4) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.14300-400-18300/-
