National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, NCDIR, This new permanent institute of ICMR has been commenced with the main objective of developing a national research data-base on cancer, diabetes, CVD and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas. The creation of this new centre is against the background of the work done under the National Cancer Registry Programme (NCRP) and the specific research activities that have gone into it since the commencement of the programme. Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Information Science from a recognized University OR 1st Class Master’s Degree in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Science/ MCA & M.Phil or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
