National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, NEERI, its headquarters at Nagpur and at present having five Zonal Laboratories across the country. Applications are invited in the prescribed form from Indian Nationals for the following positions of Scientists :
 
A. Scientist, Group IV (2) :
No of Post : 24 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-3, Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper Age Limit 35 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.E./M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management with 02 years post ME/M.Tech. research/field experience in the area of Environment Monitoring, Modeling and Pollution Control OR M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering with Ph.D. in related discipline.
Desirable: 1. First Class at Graduate and Post Graduate level 2. Publications in SCI journal.

B. Scientist, Group IV (4) :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-4, Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper Age Limit 45 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Bio-chemistry/Genetics/Molecular Biology with Ph.D. in the related discipline with minimum 7 years post Ph.D. research/teaching experience in the area of human genetics, genomics, SNP, Tissue culture, molecular biology, proteomics, micro-array, etc.
Desirable: 1. Publications in SCI journals with high impact factor. 2. Post-doctoral experience with reputed universities abroad for minimum 2 years.

C. Technical Assistant [Group III (1)] :
No of Post : 06 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-2, Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Upper Age Limit 28 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class B.Sc. (Chemistry) with one year full time post B.Sc. professional qualification in the field of chemistry from a recognized Institute / Organization.
Desirable: Computer knowledge.
