Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, WIHG, is a premier National Institute for training and research in Wildlife Conservation and Management. The Institute is looking for bright candidates for filling up of Group-A Scientific positions 02 (two) posts of ‘Scientist-C’ and 01 (one) post of ‘Scientist-D’ post on Direct Recruitment (D.R.) basis. The applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up of following posts:
1. Scientist C :
No of post : 02 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 31 years in case of candidates possessing Master’s degree and 34 years in case of candidates having Ph.D. degree as on 28th November 2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science / Life Science / Computer Science / Veterinary Sciences with 03 (THREE) years experience in required areas OR Ph.D. in any of above fields with 01 (ONE) year experience in required areas.
2. Scientist D :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years in case of candidates possessing Master’s degree and 38 years in case of candidates having Ph.D. degree as on 28th November 2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science / Life Science / Computer Science / Veterinary Sciences with 07 (SEVEN) years experience in required areas OR Ph.D. in any of above fields with 04 (FOUR) years experience in required areas.
