Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO, Recruitment and Assesment Centre (RAC) Invites applications for the Scientist post at Delhi.
 
1. Scientist F :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- & Grade Pay RS. 8900/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : first class Master’s Degree in Science Subjects, or at least first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognised university or Ph D in relevant discipline. Experience in the areas of experimental laser spectroscopy, UV & IR laser spectroscopy for applications related to laser remote sensing/lidar, photo thermal spectroscopy for qualitative and quantitative estimation of various species.
Age Limit : 50 years as on closing date of advertisement.

2. Scientist E :
No of Post : 11 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000/- & Grade Pay Rs. 8700/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : first class Master’s Degree in Science Subjects, or at least first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognised university or ME/M Tech/Ph D in relevant discipline. Experience and knowledge in technical and financial capacity assessment of ship yards and dockyards with respect to ship design and building capabilities.
Age Limit : 45 year as on closing date of advertisement.

3. Scientist D :
No of Post : 07 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100/- & Grade Pay RS. 7600/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : first class Master’s Degree in Science Subjects, or at least first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognised university or Ph D in Biosciences/Biophysics. Experience in advanced patch clam techniques, confocal microscopy, electrophysiological techniques, voltage gated ion channels. Whole cell, inside out patch and giant membrane patch recording. Single channel recording.
Age Limit : 45 years as on closing date of advertisement.

4. Scientist C :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Scale of Pay :  PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- & Grade Pay RS. 6600/- per month, Essential Qualification & Experience : first class Master’s Degree in Science Subjects, or at least first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognised university or Ph D in relevant discipline. Experience in the field of drug discovery, design and development. Proficient skills in conducting multi-step inorganic synthesis with experience in characterization techniques like NMR, IR, HPLC, GF-AAS. Extensive expertise in synthesizing and handling highly air and moisture sensitive compounds.
Age Limit : 35 years as on closing date of advertisement.
