Jharkhand Space Applications Center, JSAC, Jharkhand Space Application Center (JSAC), Ranchi has to recruit bright, hardworking, reliable and competent professional on purely contract basis in JSAC. The posts are on contract basis for a minimum period of one year and further extendable based on the performance. The reservation rules of Government of Jharkhand will be applicable for BC, SC and ST for the candidate having their domicile in the State of Jharkhand for which they will have to attach a copy of relevant caste Certificates and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority along with their application. The candidates belonging to reserved categories from State, other than Jharkhand, will be treated as General Candidates. In case vacancy is available in the General category against a particular post, their merit will be prepared in the General category only.

1. Junior Scientist :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Age up to 35 years as on 15.11.2014, Age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidate and 3 years for BC Candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 47000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering with first class from recognized Institution / University. Experienced candidates in the field of digital survey (DGPS / ETS) will be preferred.
Desirable : Working experience in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS.

2. Surveyor (Technical Assistant) :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Age up to 35 years as on 15.11.2014, Age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidate and 3 years for BC Candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 27000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : ITI / Diploma or certificate in Surveying with first class from a recognized Institution or Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class from recognized Institution / University with relevant work experience in the the field of digital survey (DGPS / ETS).
Desirable : Working experience in the field of Surveying, Remote Sensing and GIS.

Candidates applying are required to submit the Demand Draft in favour of Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Centre, payable at Ranchi. General candidates – Rs. 500/-, Backward Class – Rs. 300/-, ST/SC/PH – Nil / Exempted. The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the a foresaid post and must fulfill all the eligibility criteria on or before 16.10.2014, failing which their application will be rejected.
