1. Senior Staff Scientist :
No of post : 45 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 15600 to 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 33 Years as on 21.03.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class BE / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / IT, with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR First Class MCA with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR First Class ME / M Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / IT/ Biomedical Electronics with specialization in Image Processing / Signal Processing / Biomedical Engineering with relevant post qualification experience of one year.

2. Senior Staff Scientist (Teaching) :
No of post : 05 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB-3 15600 to 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 33 Years as on 21.03.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class BE / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / IT, with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR First Class MCA with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR First Class ME / M Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / IT/ Biomedical Electronics with specialization in Image Processing / Signal Processing / Biomedical Engineering with relevant post qualification experience of one year.
