Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board, ASRB, Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the following scientific, Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the following scientific posts under different institutes and the Headquarters of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the following positions under the ICAR and its institutes New Delhi:
 
A. Assistant Director General (ADG)/ Joint Director :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Pay Scale : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs.10000/-,
Essential Qualification : Doctoral degree in the discipline of Animal Health viz. Veterinary Pathology / Veterinary Microbiology including Bacteriology & Virology/ Veterinary Parasitology and including relevant basic sciences.
Age Limit : The candidate must not have attained the age of 60 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
B. Project Coordinator/ Head of Division :
No of Post : 25 posts,
Pay Scale : PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.10000/-,
Essential Qualification : Doctoral degree in Zoology / Agricultural Zoology/Entomology or related subject including relevant basic sciences.
Age Limit : The candidate must not have attained the age of 60 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
C. Principal Scientist :
No of Post : 21 posts,
Pay Scale : PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.10000/-,
Essential Qualification : Doctoral degree in Fisheries/Mariculture/Aquaculture/Aquatic As per ICAR instructions, the Head of Division/Regional Station of the Institute will not be permitted to join or apply for another equivalent position within ICAR.
Age Limit : The candidate must not have attained the age of 62 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

Application form complete in respect should reach the Secretary, ASRB, KAB-I, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 by 11.09.2009. Last date for abroad/remote areas is 25.09.2009.

Fees: DD of Rs.500/- ($20/- for applications posted from abroad) drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB payable at New Delhi.
