Artisan : Total 159 posts,
a. EDN Electronic Mechanic – No of Post: 65 posts,
b. Artisan For EDN Electrician – No of Post: 68 posts,
c. Artisan For EDN Fitter – No of Post: 26 posts,
d. Draughtsman (Mechanical) for EDN – No of Post: 11 posts,
e. Draughtsman (Mechanical) for ISG – No of Post: 10 posts,
Pay Scale : Rs.4800-7805/- (Under revision)
Age Limit: The candidates in all the categories should not be less than 18 years of age. Upper Age Limit should not be more than 27 years as on 01/08/2009.
Essential Qualification & Experience: Matric / SSLC plus National Trade Certificate plus National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trades of Electronic Mechanic / Electrician / Fitter Draughtsman (Mechanical) with not less than 60% marks in both NTC and NAC for General and OBC candidates and 55% for SC / ST candidates. Desirable: Working knowledge of Kannada.

Fees: Examination fee of Rs. 125/- by General and OBC candidates in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “BHEL, Electronics Division” drawn on any scheduled bank and payable at Bangalore. SC/ ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying this fee.
