It is Hydropower Sector having excellence in Planning, Designing and Executing Hydro Projects. NHPC is looking for promising, energetic young graduate engineers & professionals with brilliant academic record to join the organization for following positions :
 
A. Under Special Drive :
I. Trainee Officer (HR) :
No of Post : 02 posts (PWD),
Scale of Pay : E-2 Rs. 8600 to 14600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (Two years) or MBA with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations or Master of Social Works from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

II. Assistant Hindi Officer :
No of Post : 02 posts (OBC),
Scale of Pay : E-1 Rs. 8000 to 13400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 35 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant field in any Central/State Govt. Department/PSU or reputed Public Limited Company.
 
III. Stenographer Gr.III :
No of Post : 01 post (PWD),
Scale of Pay : W4 Rs. 5800 to 10790/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 29 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with 80/80 w.p.m. speed in English/Hindi Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. speed in English/Hindi typing. 02 years post qualification experience in relevant field. Computer literacy is essential.

IV. Stenographer Gr.II :
No of Post : 02 posts (PWD),
Scale of Pay : W5 Rs. 6700 to 12500/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 32 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with 100/80 w.p.m. speed in English/Hindi Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. speed in English/Hindi typing. 05 years post qualification experience in relevant field. Computer literacy is essential.

V. Medical Officer :
No of Post : 01 post (PWD),
Scale of Pay : E2A Rs. 10750 to 16750/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 33 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MBBS Degree with valid registration. Two years post Internship experience.

VI. Trainee Officer (Finance) :
No of Post : 30 posts (SC-12, ST-11, OBC-6, PWD-1),
Scale of Pay : E2 Rs. 8600 to 14600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : CA/ICWA qualified, from institute recognised by appropriate statutory authority in India.

B. Jobs Others also to be filled :
I. Trainee Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 30 posts (UR-37, SC-10, ST-05, OBC-18),
Scale of Pay : E2 Rs. 8600 to 14600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE / B.Tech in Civil Engg. from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE, with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. AMIE are also eligible.

II. Trainee Engineer (Electrical) :
No of Post : 34 posts (UR-18, SC-5, ST-2, OBC-9),
Scale of Pay : E2 Rs. 8600 to 14600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engg. from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE, with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. AMIE are also eligible

III. Trainee Officer (Geology) :
No of Post : 21 posts (UR-12, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-5),
Scale of Pay : E2 Rs. 8600 to 14600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc.(Geo.)/ M.Tech. in Applied Geology (should have studied Geology with Maths or Physics at Graduation level), from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE, with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

IV. Medical Officer :
No of Post : 12 posts (UR-8, SC-1, OBC-3),
Scale of Pay : E2A Rs. 10750 to 16750/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 33 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MBBS Degree with valid registration. Two years post Internship experience.

No of Post : 02 posts (UR-2),
Scale of Pay : E-1 Rs. 8000 to 13400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceeding 35 years.
