Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, CMERI. Council of Scientific & Industrial Research M.G. Avenue, Durgapur– 713209. CMERI is looking for dynamic and creative people to do research in the above broad areas of activities under different categories. Candidates fulfilling the educational qualification, age etc. may apply in the prescribed proforma to the Administrative Officer.

A. Scientist in Group IV (1) : 02 Posts (ST-1, OBC-1), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Age limit : 35 years. Essential Qualification: First class BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
B. Technical Staff (Electrical) in Gr. III(4) : 01 post (OBC), Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Age limit : 35 years. Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 6 years of experience in relevant areas.
C. Technical Staff in Gr. III(1) : 02 Posts (OBC-1, PH-1), Pay Band : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age limit : 28 years. Essential Qualification: First class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of 3 years full time duration or equivalent.
D. Jr. Stenographer in Group- C (Non-Tech.) : 01 post (PWD VH-Blind), Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400. Age 43 years including the relaxation of 15 years. No age restriction for Departmental candidates, Essential Qualification: 10+2/XII or equivalent and speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting in English and on the basis of Competitive Proficiency Test.
