Staff Selection Commission, SSC, Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination-2010, Exam held in all over India in Various Centres. Write & send Applications to the Staff Selection Commission, Block No. 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504.

Staff Selection Commission, SSC, Commission will hold a combined examination for recruitment to different posts for which a Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum requirement. The Examination will comprise of written Objective Type held in two Tiers followed by Interview / Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination notified. Posts have been placed in appropriate groups, inter-alia, based on their Classification and Grade Pay admissible. Preference Group-wise is to be indicated in the application. Further preference to posts within the Group will be obtained at the time of Interview/Skill test. Staff Selection Commission will hold on 16/05/2010, an open competitive examination.
 
I. Inspectors of Income Tax / Inspector (Central Excise) / Inspector (Preventive Officer)/Inspector (Examiner) in Custom Houses (Group B Non-Gazetted) :
pay of scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1992).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

II. Inspector of Posts – Group B Non-Gazetted :
Pay of scales  : Rs. Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1992).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

III. Sub-Inspectors in CBI and other Central Police Organisations like ITBP, CISF, CRPF, SSB, BSF.
Pay of scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Between 20 to 25 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1985 and not later than 02.03.1992).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

VI. Assistant Enforcement Officers in Directorate of Enforcement :
pay of scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-,
Age Limit : Between 20 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1990).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

V. Divisional Accountants in CAG Offices :
pay of scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years (Not born earlier than 03.03.1984),
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

VI. Statistical Investigators Gr.II :
pay of scale  : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years (Not born earlier than 03.03.1984),
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three year as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or elective subject from any recognized University.

VII. Auditors/ Junior Accountants / Accountants/  in various CAG Offices :
pay of scale : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2800/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years (Not born earlier than 03.03.1984),
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

VIII. Assistants – CSS : 
Pay of scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-,
Age Limit : Between 20 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1990).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

IX. Assistants in other Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ CVC :
pay 0f scale  : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.  to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Between 20 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1990).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

XI. UDCs (Upper Division Clerk) in various Central Government Offices/ Departments :
pay of scale : Rs. 5200 ti 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years (Not born earlier than 03.03.1984),
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

XII. Tax Assistants in various CBDT/ CBEC :
pay of scale : Rs. 5200 to 20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/-,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years as on 02.03.2010. (Not born earlier than 03.03.1983 and not later than 02.03.1992).
Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

Examination Scheme :
1. Preliminary (Tier-1) Written Examination on 16/05/2010.
2. Objective Type Examination on 16/05/2010.

Candidates Should Apply on “Online” from 04.02.2010 at SSC website (Pay fee st SBI in this case) at http://www.ssconline.nic.in. However, Those who wants to apply offline can still send their Applications on prescribed proforma, in an envelope shoud be send to concerned Regional Director of SSC Centre where candidate want to apply.

Fees : Rs. 100/-. (No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman). Fee will be paid only in the form of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”
