Staff Selection Commission, SSC, invite application for the following posts in various Ministries / Offices of the Government of India :

i. Senior Technical Assistant (Dairy) :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Dairy Science /Dairy Technology From a recognized university. One year practical experience in production handling and marketing of milk and milk products.

ii. Assistant Stores Officer :
No of post : 07 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. About 3 years experience of procurement and maintenance and Accounting of survey instruments/equipment and Photographic etc. Stores in a Govt. Department  OR Commercial organisation of repute.

iii. Assistant Scientific Officer (Mathematics) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university or equivalent with English and Hindi  as compulsory/optional at secondary school examination level.

iv. Russian Steno-II :
No of post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree from a recognized university with certificate of    proficiency in Russian language (one years ‘ course) from a recognised university or Institution.
Should be able to take dictation in Russian language at a speed of 40  words per minute. Speed of 40 words per minute in English Typewriting.

v. Technical Assistant (Printed Publicity/ Production) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized University /Institution or equivalent. 02 Years experience in a reputable printing press / publishing house advertising agency/ Government Organization engaged in bringing out books, periodicals, posters, folders calendars and other from of printed materials .

vi. Business Executive, GCS, Class-II :
No of post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree of a recognised university. About two years experience in a publishing  house of standing or corresponding organisation  under government in responsible position dealing with organisation of sales and distribution of publications , advertising and publicity.

vii. Senior Technical Assistant (Crops) :
No of post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5500 to 9000/- per month (pre-revised). 
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Sc. Degree in Agriculture followed by a Post –Graduate Degree in any branch of Agricultural Science of a recognized university or equivalent.

viii. Senior Technical Assistant (Geophysics) :
No of post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics from a recognized university or equivalent. 02 years’ experience in Geophysical Investigations related  to ground water exploration.

ix. Research Assistant :
No of post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master ‘s Degree in Economics / Statistics/Geography/ Sociology/Social Works/Public Administration from a recognized university or equivalent. 02 Years Experience of collection and processing of data and preparing reports preferable in urban and regional planning. 

x. Planning Assistant :
No of post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Intermediate in Architecture from a recognized university / Institution or equivalent qualifications. About 02 Years experience in planning or Architectural Office in a design housing .layouts. planning .Surveys, cost estimates etc.

xi. Research Investigator :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor ‘s Degree in Statistics/Economics /Mathematics /Commerce/Operations Research/Agriculture (with statistics) from a recognised university or equivalent. Two years experience in collection /compilation /formulation and processing of forestry/watershed development  programmes on forests/nonforests.

xii. Assistant Curator (Archaeology) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Museology  or History of Art from a recognized University or equivalent.

xiii. Modeller : No of post :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 28 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matriculation or equivalent examination passed.
(ii) Diploma in Modeling and sculpture from a recognized Govt. Institution. (iii) Three years experience in Modelling Studio and experience in casting and moulding.

xiv. Data Processing Assistant Gr. A :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science or M. Tech. (with specialization in Computer Applications) OR B.E/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/Computer Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

xv. Senior Translator (Hindi) :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized University or equivalent.

xvi. Research Assistant :

Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Master’s Degree in History from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Two years research experience in the field of History.

xvii. Data Processing Assistant Gr. A :

Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or B.E./B. Tech.  in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognised University or institute.

xviii. Senior Scientific Assistant (Document) :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc. Degree in Chemistry OR Physics from a recognised
University or equivalent. One Year experience in Laboratory in identification of hand writing / Typewriter prints/Obliteration and Analysis of ink.

xix. Senior Scientific Assistant (Biology) :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc. Degree in Zoology OR  Anthropology (Physical) OR Botany from a recognised University or equivalent. One Year experience in Biological Laboratory.

xx. Senior Scientific Assistant (Serology) :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Degree in Zoology or Micro-Biology or Biochemistry or Bacteriology from a recognised University or equivalent. One years experience in a Laboratory in blood grouping analysis of human & animal blood stains, saliva and semen stains.

xxi. Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemistry) :
No of post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Degree in Zoology or Micro-Biology or Biochemistry or Bacteriology from a recognised University or equivalent. One years experience in a Laboratory in blood grouping analysis of human & animal blood stains, saliva and semen stains.

xxii. Senior Scientific Assistant (Physics) :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Degree in Physics from a recognised University or equivalent. One years experience in a laboratory in Spectrographic Analysis, Spectrophotometer Analysis, X-Ray Analysis and Physical properties and other measurements of various materials (including the building material).

xxiii. Senior Scientific Assistant (Photo) :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. Degree from a recognised University or equivalent. One years experience in a branches of photography including experience of scientific photography with theoretical and practical knowledge of its techniques.

xxiv. Senior Technical Assistant :

Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master ‘s Degree in Mathematics /Statistics or Mathematical Statistics/ Electronics/Computer Science from a recognized university/equivalent ;

xxv. Senior Translator (Hindi) :
No of post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master‘s Degree of a recognized University in (i) Hindi /English, with English /Hindi as a Compulsory/Elective Subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.

xxvi. Assistant Central Intelligence Office/ Grade-I (Language) Russian :
No of post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in the Foreign Language (Russian) with English as a Compulsory or Elective subject from a recognized University/Institution.
