I. Director : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : R.16400-22400
II. Readers : No of Post : 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300
III. Production and Sales Officer : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-15500 + Spl Pay Rs.1000
Iv. Lecturers : No of Post : 13 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500
V. System Analayst : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500
VI. Programmer : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500
VII. Senior Technical Assistant : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.7220-11320
VIII. Drawing Instructor : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.5800-9200
IX. Library Assistant : No of Post : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5800-9200
X. Store Keeper : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8100
XI. Computer Instructors : No of Post : 03 posts, Pay Scale : 6000/- fixed per month on contract basis for Academic session of 2009-2010
XII. Security Guard (Gunman) : No of Post : 07 posts, Pay Scale : 6000/- fixed per month on contract basis for 3 years and can be exended
XIII. Security Supervisor : No of Post : 04 posts, Pay Scale : 6000/- fixed per month on contract basis for six months and can be extended
XIV. Trainee Operator : No of Post : 02 posts, Pay Scale : 4000/- fixed per month on contract basis for 2 years
 
How to apply for above post:
Applications on prescribed alongwith a self-addressed envelope  (25 x 10 cms) affixed with the postage stamps worth Rs. 25/- and indicating on it the name of the post applied for. It can also be downloaded from the University website punjabiuniversity.ac.in and sent to the University alongwith a demand draft of Rs.200/- for teaching post and Rs. 100/- for non-teaching post in favour of Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala. Payable at Patiala. On or before by 22.9.2009.                 

Fees: Rs. 200/-for teaching posts at Sr. No I, II and IV and Rs. 100/- for non-teaching posts at the counter or by sending a demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala,
