University College of Engineering and Technology (UCET) is a CSE – Computer Science Engineering, IT- Information Technology. EL & C – Electrinics & Communication, Mech Engg. – Mechanical Engineering. Applications are invited in the prescribed format for the posts, mentioned below:-

1. Architect/Civil Engineer : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000 – 13000, Walk-In-Interview on 26.05.09, Minimum Qualification: B.Tech/B.E.
2. Lab Technician : 04 posts (One each for the Dept. of CSE, EI & C, It, Mech. Engg.), Pay Scale : Rs. 5500 – 9000, Walk-In-Interview on 26.05.09, Minimum Qualification: ITI./Diploma in the Appropriate branch.
3. Lab Technician ; 02 posts (One each for Dept. of Physics, Chemistry B. Sc. (H) in the Concerned subject) , Pay Scale : Rs.5500 – 9000, Walk-In-Interview on 26.05.09, Minimum Qualification: B.Lib.
4. Library Assistant : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.4500 – 7000, Walk-In-interview on 27.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Physical Education with Experience.
5. P.T.I. : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.5000 – 8000, Walk-In-Interview on 27.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Graduation  having Knowledge in Computer operation.
6. Office Assistant : 07 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.4000 – 6000, Walk-In–Interview on 27.05.09, Minimum Qualification: B.Com +Diploma in Computer Science.
7. Accountant : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.4500 – 7000, Walk-In-Interview on 28.05.09, Minimum Qualification: B.Com +Diploma in Computer Science.
8. Store-keeper : 07 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.4000 – 6000, Walk-In-Interview on 28.0509, Minimum Qualification: Graduate/Intermediate.
9. Receptionist : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.4000 – 6000, Walk-In-Interview on 28.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Graduate With Eloquent in English (Preferably female).
10. Electrician : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interview on 29.05.09, Minimum Qualification: I T I.
11. Fitter : 01 post, Pay Scale : 3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interview on 29.05.09, Minimum Qualification: I T I.
12. Welder : 01 post, Pay Scale : 2650 – 4000, Walk-In-Interview on 29.05.2009, Minimum Qualification: I T I.
13. Wireman : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interviw on 29.05.09, Minimum Qualification & Experience: Certificate from Polytechnic or ITI at Least for six months. Two years Experience in Govt. / Semigovt. Organization.
14. Lab boy : 06 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.2650 – 4000, Walk-In-Interview on 30.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Matriculation.
15. Peon : 16 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.2550 – 3200, Walk-In-Interview on 30.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Matriculation.
16. Carpenter : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interview 31.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Literate with work Experience.
17. Blacksmith : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interview 31.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Literate with work Experience.
18. Driver : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.3050 – 4590, Walk-In-Interview on 31.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Literate with work Experience.
19. Sweeper : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.2550 – 3230, Walk-In-Interview on 31.05.09, Minimum Qualification: Literate with work Experience.
20. Bus Khalasi : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.2550 – 3200, Walk-In-Interview on 31.05.2009, Minimum Qualification: Literate with work Experience.

How to apply for above post:
Application should reach Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag – 825301 (Jharkhand) by 18.05.2009.

Fees: 
a. For SI. No. 1 to 8, Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) for general/OBC and Rs.  200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) for SC/ST candidates.

b. For Sl. No. 9 to 13, Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) for general/OBC and Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for SC/ST candidates.
 
c. For SI. No. 14 to 18, Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for general/OBC and Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) for SC/ST candidates.
Fee should be submitted in the form of Bank Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of  “The Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag”, payable at Hazaribag. Preference may be given to applicants having experience. The undersigned reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
