Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, IGCAR, set up in 1971 at Kalpakkam (Kalpakkam is a coastal hamlet, located 80 kms South of Chennai [MADRAS] and is 8 kms South of historic Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram)), is a premiere R&D establishment of the Department of Atomic Energy. IGCAR invites applications from eligible  candidates for the following posts of Stenographers :
 
Stenographers Grade-III :
No of Post : 07 posts (UR-5, PWD-1, Ex.SM-1),
Age Limit : Between 18 to 28 years as on 01.07.2009, Age relaxation as per rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience :
(i) Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks.
(ii) speed of 80 word per minute in English stenography.
(iii) Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute, Desirable : Knowledge in Computer Data Processing.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-,
