Parliament of India, Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the following posts in Lok Sabha Secretariat as an Stenographer, Staff Car Driver
1. Stenographer (Engish / Hindi) :
No of post : 41 Posts (SC-07, ST-04, OBC-05, UR-25)
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 27 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university and possessing a minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in English / Hindi.
Desirable : Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or courses equivalent to ‘O’ Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC.
2. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) :
No of post : 04 Posts Posts (OBC-01, UR-03)
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 27 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matriculation or equivalent; (ii) A valid commercial LMV/HMV licence; and (iii) Skill and experience in driving motor vehicles.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Eligible candidates will have to appear in examination/skill test/trade test as per the following scheme. Stenographer (English / Hindi) Preliminary Examination, Part-A & Part-B General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General English (50 multiple choice objective type questions in each part.) Written Paper and Stenography Test as an Essay, Letter and Grammar, Stenography test at 80 w.p.m. in English / Hindi.
