Goa police Department, GPD, Applications in prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the below mentioned vacant posts by direct recruitmentln Goa police Depaftment:-

1. Lower Division Clerk :
No of post : 05 Posts (UR-2, OBC-1, PDP-1, ST-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 27.08.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. ii. Should be computer literate. iii. Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi Language.

2. Stenographer :
No of post : 06 Posts (UR-3, OBC-1, CFF-1, ST-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 27.08.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent quaiification from a recoqnized Institution. ii. Should be Computer Literate. iii. Speed of 100 words per minute in Short Hand and 35 words per minute in typewriting. iv. Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi Language.

The prescribed Application forms are available at Goa Police Welfare Cell, Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Altinho, Panaji, which can be collected between 9.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs on all working days. Duly filled application should reach the Office of “The Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters, Panaji” On or before 27 August 2014.

Fees/Application Fee:
Rs. 20/- per form for the post of Lower Division clerk all and Rs. 50/- per form for the post of stenographer. The Application Forms completed in respects should reach the office – To The supeintendent of police, police Headquarters, Panaji
