Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, BARC, Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates may apply for Stipendiary Trainees (Category – II) for training in BARC Mumbai and Tarapur:
 
Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II) :
No of Post : 212 posts (UR-36, OBC-129, SC-11, ST-21) in various disciplines.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Those candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects or ITI/NCVT of 2 years duration or ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 6200/- for first years and Rs. 7200/- for second years and will be place in the pay scale Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : 18 years Minimum and 22 Years Maximum for Category II as on 01.11.2010.

Physical Standards :
Minimum Height : 160 cms.
Minimum weight : 45.5 Kgs. (Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit.)
