Applications in the prescribed proforma are invited by 03/10/2007 from eligible candidates for the recruitment to following posts of Teacher in Education Department of Chandigarh Administration as per detail below:-
- Masters/Mistresses : 273 posts , Pay Scale : Rs. 5480-8925/- , Qualification : Graduate with atleast 50% marks with B.Ed in. Age Limit as on 3/10/07 : 30 Year
- Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) : 235 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.4550-7220, Qualification : Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised university with 40% marks in aggregate and atleast 50% marks at 10+2 level. (ii) Diploma or certificate in Basic Teachers Training of not less than 2 years duration recognised by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or JBT Certificate/Diploma of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks recognsied by Chandigarh Administration
- Nursery Teacher : 28 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.4550-7220/-, Qualification : Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate (ii) Diploma or certificate in NTT or its equivalent from an institute recognised by NCTE of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks OR equivalent from an institute recognised by NCTE not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks.
How to Apply : Application in the prescribed format along with attested copies of testimonials/certificates and with a bank draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC candidate) drawn from any scheduled bank in favour of Director, Public Instructions (S), Chandigarh Administration should be submitted on or before 03/10/2007 through Registered Post or by in person at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector-19, Chandigarh.
