Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, ESIC, is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation proposes to recruit the teaching faculty positions for ESI Dental College, Rohini, Delhi on direct recruitment basis. The break up of vacancies post wise is as under:-
 
I. Dean :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) a) A qualification included in part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act 1948 (16 of 1948) b) Should be registered with a Dental Council.
(ii) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MDS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto out of which minimum of five years teaching experience as a Professor in a recognized Dental College.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 with G.P. of Rs. 10,000 plus non practicing allowance.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 years (relaxable upto 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government servants).

II. Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) a) A qualification included in part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act 1948 (16 of 1948) , (II) b) Should be registered with a Dental Council. Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto out of which five years teaching experience as Reader/ Associate Professor.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 with G.P. of Rs. 10,000 plus non practicing allowance.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable upto 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government servants).

III. Associat Professor :
No of Post : 09 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) a) A qualification included in part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act 1948 (16 of 1948) ,(II) b) Should be registered with a Dental Council. Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto out of which six years teaching and/or research experience should necessarily include four years teaching experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 with G.P. of Rs. 10,000 plus non practicing allowance.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable upto 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government servants).

IV. Assisant Professor :
No of Post : 17 posts
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) a) A qualification included in part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act 1948 (16 of 1948) (II)  b) Should be registered with a Dental Council. Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto out of which three years teaching experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 with G.P. of Rs. 6600 plus non practicing allowance (for medical candidates only)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable upto 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government servants).
