Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, KVS, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, invite ON-LINE applications from the Indian Nationals for recruitment to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the year – 2011-12. Candidates are required to apply ON-LINE through KVS’s website (where complete advertisement & fee payment challans are available). No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted. The schedule of On-line registration is as follows :
 
A. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) :
No of Post : 559 Posts in various subjects (UR-290,OBC-148,SC-81,ST-40) (PH-15),
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit: Candidates should not more than 35 Years as on 30.11.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

B. Primary Teachers (PRT) :
No of Post : 592 Posts (UR-301,OBC-159,SC-88,ST-44) (PH-17),
Scale of Pay : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200,
Age Limit: Candidates should not more than 30 Years as on 30.11.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent; and ii) Diploma or Certificate in Basic Teachers’ Training of duration of not less than two years. OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or B.Ed. or equivalent. iii) Competence to teach through Hindi and English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

C. Primary Teacher – Music :
No of Post : 14 Posts (UR-7,OBC-4,SC-2,ST-1)(PH-3),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300- 34800 grade pay 4200,
Age Limit: Candidates should not more than 30 Years as on 30.11.2010.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Degree in Music Degree in Music from a recognized University. OR Higher Secondary with any of the following viz. Sangeet Visharad of Gandharav Mahavidyalaya, Bombay OR Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow OR Indira Kala Sangeet Viswa Vidyalaya, Khairagarh (Chhattisgarh), OR Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad OR Equivalent qualification from other recognized Institution.

Fees : Rs. 750/- (plus Rs.30/- as service charge) to be deposited in the Indian Bank account number 405046333, Mehrauli Institutional Area, New Delhi by a challan / electronic transfer. No fee for SC/ST/Ex-SM/PH/Women candidates.

Last Date of Application Submission : Online from 30.10.2010 to 30.11.2010. Duly filled in application on or before 07.12.2010.
