1. Professors : In various Positions and subjects.
No of post : 13 Posts
Age Limit : Age for retirement on superannuation is 65 years.
Scale of Pay : PB: Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Plus AGP Rs. 10000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post-graduate degree & Ph. D in any branch of Earth Sciences with specialization in Applied Geochemistry / Exploration Geophysics / Mineral Exploration / Geodynamics / Petrology and other related fields.

2. Associate Professors : In various Positions and subjects.
No of post : 32 Posts
Age Limit : Age for retirement on superannuation is 65 years.
Scale of Pay : PB: Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Plus AGP Rs. 9000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Post-graduate degree & Ph. D in any branch of Earth Sciences with specialization in Applied Geology / Structural Geology / Exploration Geochemistry / Mineral Exploration / Seismics / Electrical & Electro- magnetic / Geostatistical modeling and simulations for Earth sciences/Geohydrology / Petrology / Atmosphere-Ocean-Climate modeling.

3. Assistant Professors : In various Positions and subjects.
No of post : 22 Posts
Age Limit : Age for retirement on superannuation is 65 years.
Scale of Pay : PB: Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Plus AGP Rs. 6000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc./M Tech in Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences. Ph. D in any branch Oceanography / Meteorology / Atmospheric Sciences – is desirable.
