Institute for Plasma Research, IPR, The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts of :
 
1. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – B (MECHANICAL) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Fresh) (First Class) from recognized University / Technical Examination Boards.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band 2 (PB-2) Rs. 9300 to 34800 with basic Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (Gross Pay Rs. 19845/- p.m.),
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years and relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.

2. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT – PROJECT (PHYSICS) :
No of Post : 08 posts, The posts are purely temporary for a period of ONR YEAR OR co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in IPR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. Three Years, Fresher must be First Class with Physics as a main subject.
Scale of Pay : Consolidated Rs.19000/- p.m.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years and relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.

3. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (PROJECT) (ELECTRONICS / MECHANICAL / INFORMATION TECH.) :
No of Post : 08 posts, The posts are purely temporary for a period of ONR YEAR OR co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in IPR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. Three Years, Fresher must be First Class with Physics as a main subject.
Scale of Pay : Consolidated Rs.19000/- p.m.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years and relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.
