Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force ITBP, Applications are invited from male Indian citizens, for filling up Various vacancies in Group-C for the year 2009 on temporary basis likely to be permanent, for the following posts as mentioned against each, in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force.
 
I. Constable (Radio Operator) : No of Post : 217 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
II. Constable (Radio Technician) : No of Post : 215 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
III. Constable (Line Man) : No of Post : 19 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
IV. Constable (Motor Mechanic)  : No of Post : 35 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
V. Constable (Driver) : No of Post : 500 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
VI. Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) : No of Post : 49 posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- per month. Age Limit : Between 19 to 25 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matric or equivalent, (ii) Certificate in Motor mechanic from a recognized institution/ ITI with 3 years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or 3 years diploma in automobile engineering.
