Steel Authority of India Limited, SAIL, A Maharatna Company, is India’s largest steel producer with an annual turnover of around Rs.50,000 Crore. It operates and owns one of it’s integrated steel plant at Burnpur. The Company is implementing a massive expansion plan involving a modernized plant at Burnpur. IISCO STEEL PLANT is looking for competent  personnel for recruitment to the following posts:

i. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) :
No of post : 392 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8630-3%-12080/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : – Matriculation or equivalent and ITI from a recognized Institutions.
Age Limit : Maximum age 28 years as on 01.02.2011.

ii. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) :
No of post : 300 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9160 to 13150/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : – Diploma in Engineering (Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation  etc). 
Age Limit : Maximum age 28 years as on 01.02.2011.

Stipend Pay : During the training period, trainees will be paid consolidated pay of Rs. 6600/-  per month in the first year and Rs. 7700/- for the second year of training against the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) and consolidated pay of Rs. 8250/- per month in the first year and Rs. 9350/- for the second year of training against the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee).
