Steel Authority of India Limited, SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for filling up the following posts :
 
1. Junior Operator/ Technician-cum-Attendant (Trainee) :
No of Post : 80 Posts,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 28 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Scale of Pay : To be recruited as Trainee, on consolidated pay for 02 (two) years. On successful completion of training to be regularized in S-1 grade. Rs. 8630-3%-12080/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matric and ITI in the trade of Fitter / Electrician / Welder/Machinist / Turner / Diesel Mechanic / Electronics / Instrumentation / Refrigeration & AC.

2. Junior Operator/Technician-cum-Attendant (S-1) :
No of Post : 50 Posts,
Age Limit : Not to exceed 30 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8630-3%-12080/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matric and ITI with 2 (two) years experience in Steel industry.

3. Operator cum Technician (S-3) :
No of Post : 50 Posts,
Age Limit : 30 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Scale of Pay : Rs. Rs. 9160-3%-13150/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matric and Diploma in Engineering in the discipline of Metallurgy / Mechanical/ Electrical / Civil / Electronics / Instrumentation with 2 (two) years
experience in Steel industry.
