Export Inspection Council, EIC, export inspection and certification body established under Export (Quality Control & Inspection) Act, 1963 by the Government of India, invites applications from Indian citizens for appointment to the following posts :

A. Assistant Director (Tech) :
No of post : 12 posts (Break-up: General – 8 (including PH-1*), SC – 1, OBC – 3 (non–creamy layer),
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Engineering / Technology or Post Graduate in Science or its equivalent About 5 years experience in inspection, standardization, testing etc., in the fields of Chemistry / Food Science / Food Technology / Microbiology / Dairy / Agriculture / Fisheries / Food & Nutrition / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Veterinary Science / Electrical / Computer / IT.
Age Limit : Between 25 to 35 years (up to 40 years for SC / PH* and up to 38 years for OBC candidates) as on the last date of receipt of the application. Age relaxation for eligible departmental candidates may also be available as per the relevant rules & instructions.

B. Technical Officer :
No of post : 05 posts (Break-up: General – 3 (including PH-1*), ST – 2)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800, Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Engineering / Technology / Degree in Science (Preferable Honours / Post Graduate) / Diploma in Engineering / Technology or equivalent About 3 years experience in standardization, testing, inspection in the fields of Chemistry / Food Science / Food Technology / Microbiology / Dairy / Agriculture/ Fisheries / Food & Nutrition / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Veterinary Science / Electrical / Computer / IT.
Age Limit : Between 25 to 35 years (up to 40 years for SC / PH* and up to 38 years for OBC candidates) as on the last date of receipt of the application. Age relaxation for eligible departmental candidates may also be available as per the relevant rules & instructions.
