Heavy Water Board, HWB, Applications are invited for the following posts in Heavy Water Board, HWB, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India :
 
1. Category-I Trainees :
No of Post : 37 posts (Chemical-18, Mechanical-6, Electrical-4, Instrumentation-2, Chemistry (Laboratory)-7),
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 9300/- per month. (consolidated) plus Book Allowance of Rs. 1500/- as one time grant, will be posted as Scientific Assistant/B – Scale of Pay PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 and Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma / Licentiate (3 years after SSC) in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation with minimum of 60% marks.

2. Category-II Trainees :
No of Post : 31 posts (Mechanical (Fitter) -5, Mechanical (Turner) -2, Electrical-1, Instrument – Mechanic-1, Cane Operator-3, Lab Technician-2, Process/ Plant Operator – 17) ,
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 6200/- per month (consolidated and no allowances are admissible) plus Book Allowance of Rs. 1500/- as one time grant, will be posted as Technician/B – in Pay Band of PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 or as Technician/C – in Pay Band of PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science and Maths PLUS ITI certificate in Fitter/ Turner/ Electrical/ Instrument-Mechanic of not less than 2 years duration / NCTVT of not less than 3 years of duration.

3. Station Officer / A :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Age Limit : Between 18 to 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band of PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Passed SSC or equivalent + Certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. Or Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London. ii) B.E. (Fire Engineering).
EXPERIENCE : Minimum experience of 5 years in a post not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential. Candidates responding against Station Officer/A, if having driving licence other than the Category of “Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence” have to produce certificate equivalent to Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence from the Licence Issuing Authority / Notification of Appropriate Authority.
