Tripura Public Service Commission, TPSC, Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the under mentioned posts as given below. Posts of Inspector, Associate Professor in Tripura PSC.

1. Inspector, Legal Metrology :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5310 to 24000/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate of a recognized University in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects) or Technology or Engineering or holds a recognized Diploma in Engineering. Able to speak, read and write at least in one of the regional languages of the State, Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borak is essential.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 05 posts (SC-01, ST-02 & UR-02) Posts.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Grade Pay Rs. 9000/-.
Essential Qualification & Experience : As per “Minimum qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulation, 1998”. Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for 4 (four) years in a recognized Medical College. Minimum of 2(two) Research Publications in Indexed/National Journals as the First/Second Author during the tenure of Assistant Professor.

Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/= (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date is 20-08-2013.

Fees/Application Fee:
Group-C Posts:- Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/-(Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. (4) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
