Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, UKPSC, To the  “Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Ayog Bhawan, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar-249404” (Uttarakhand), Advertisement No. A-1/E-1/2010.

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, UKPSC, Written examination will be held at various centers mentioned in Appendix- I of this advertisement for the selection of Suitable Candidates to the state Government through Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination, 2010. The centers of Preliminary and Main Examination and Date of Examination decided by the Commission, will be intimated to the candidates later by means of their Admission Card. The Commission may at their
discretion allot/change the examination centre and date of examination when circumstances so warrant. The candidates should note that no request of change of examination centre will be granted. In this examination O.M.R. Applications System is applicable and the candidates may obtain O.M.R. application forms from any of the designated Post Offices. Selection of Suitable Candidates to the state Government through Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination, 2010 for 337 posts:
 
i. Naib Tehsildar Revenue :
No of Post : 30 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate for direct recruitment in the service must have Graduation Degree from any university established by law in India or any other equivalent academic qualification recognized by Government.

ii. Area Rationing Officer :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1- Graduation Degree from any University established by law in India. 2- Working Knowledge of Hindi writing in Devnagri Script.

iii. Passengers Tax Superintendent Transport Deptt :
No of Post : 24 posts (UR-16, SC-04, ST-01, OBC-03),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate for direct recruitment in the service must have Graduation Degree from any recognized university. Perfect knowledge of Hindi writing in Devnagri Script is essential.

iv. Labour Enforcement Officer :
No of Post : 09 posts (UR-05, SC-02, OBC-02),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduation Degree from any university established by law in India or any other equivalent academic qualification recognized by Government.

v. Child Development Project Officer :
No of Post : 27 posts (UR-19, SC-05, ST-01, OBC-02),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduation Degree in Social Work or Sociology or Home Science from any university established by law in India or any other equivalent academic qualification recognized by Government.

vi. Supply Inspector :
No of Post : 62 posts (UR-39, SC-13, ST-02, OBC-08),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate for direct recruitment in the service must have Graduation Degree from any recognized university or any other equivalent academic qualification recognized by Government & he must have good knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

vii. Marketing Inspector :
No of Post : 74 posts (UR-46, SC-15, ST-03, OBC-10).
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate for direct recruitment in the service must have Graduation Degree from any recognized university & he must have good knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

viii. Entertainment Tax Inspector :
No of Post : 15 posts (UR-10, SC-03, OBC-02),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A candidate for direct recruitment in the service must have Graduation Degree from any university established by law in India or any other equivalent academic qualification recognized by Governor.

ix. Deputy Jailor Home Deptt :
No of Post : 08 posts (UR-05, SC-02, OBC-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1- Graduation Degree from any recognized university. 2- Working knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.

x. Executive Officer :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-01, SC-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree from any university. Desirable:- Degree or Diploma in Local Self Government or Public Administration.
Scale of Pay : 5000 to 8000/- per month.

xi. Executive Officer :
No of Post : 04 posts (UR-03, SC-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree from any university. Desirable:- Degree or Diploma in Local Self Government or Public Administration.
Scale of Pay : 4500 to 7000/- per month.

xii. Executive Officer :
No of Post : 06 posts (SC-02, OBC-04),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree from any university. Desirable:- Degree or Diploma in Local Self Government or Public Administration.
Scale of Pay : 3200 to 4900/- per month.

xiii. Accountant :
No of Post : 12 posts (UR-08, SC-02, OBC-02),
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Com Degree from any recognized university.

xiv. Excise Inspector Excise Deptt :
No of Post : 22 posts (UR-16, SC-02, ST-02, OBC-02),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduation Degree from any university established by law in India or any other equivalent degree recognized by Government.

xv. Senior Cane Development Inspector :
No of Post : 05 posts (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-01),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1- Candidate for direct recruitment in the service must possess a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture. 2- A candidate who possesses Masters Degree in Agriculture Science shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment in the service.

xvi. Cane Development Inspector :
No of Post : 36 posts (UR-22, SC-08, ST-01, OBC-05),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1- Candidate for direct recruitment in the service must possess a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture. 2- A candidate who possesses Masters Degree in Agriculture Science shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment in the service.
 
Age Limit For all Above Posts : Between 21 to 35 years. Relaxation as per rules.

Application forms in the prescribed OMR format  completed in all respects send commission office either by registered post/ speed post or personally by hand must reach to the office of Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar-249404, on or before 30.06.2010 upto 06:00 PM.

Fees : OMR application form with instructions can be purchased for Rs. 220/- for “P.G.” series (Applicable for unreserved candidates and OBC candidates of Uttarakhand and all candidates of other States) and Rs. 130/- for “P.R.” series (Applicable for SC/ST/PH candidates of Uttarakhand) in cash through the designated post offices, located at the various places in the state of Uttarakhand.
