Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, invites application on prescribed forms by 23.09.2010 (30.09.2010 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts of Work Manager  in Ordnance Factory Board, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Civilian in Defence Services :

I. Junior Work Managers (Mechanical) :
No of Post : 68 posts (SC-7, ST-5, PH-3),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years.

II. Junior Work Managers (Chemical) :
No of Post : 21 posts (SC-3, ST-2, OBC-6, PH-3),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Chemistry or Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Technology or equivalent.
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years.

Mode of Selection : Recruitment by  written test on 09.01.2011 followed by an Interview.
