The Central University of Tamil Nadu, an Institution established by an Act of Parliament, invites applications for the following Non-Teaching posts on Regular / deputation basis. post : Controller of Examination, Librarian, Assistant Registrar, Information Scientist, System Analyst, Public Relation Officer, Section Officer, Private Secretary, Security Officer, Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Technical Assistant Laboratory, Senior Technical Assistant Computer, Professional Assistant Library, Technical Assistant Laboratory, Semi Professional Assistant Library, Security Inspector, Upper Division Clerk, Library Assistant, Lower Division Clerk

1. Controller of Examination :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. The candidate must have Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.

2. Librarian :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 55 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.

3. Assistant Registrar :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale. ii) The candidate must have Good Academic Record i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree

4. Information Scientist :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.E / M. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information technology with first class having 3 years of experience. OR B.E / B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology OR M.C.A / M.Sc (Computer Science) with First class having 5 years of experience in a reputed industry / organization / Institution.
Desirable: Experience in software development and maintenance/database administration / network management.

5. System Analyst :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.E / M. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information technology with first class having 3 years of experience. OR B.E / B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology OR M.C.A / M.Sc (Computer Science) with First class having 5 years of experience in a reputed industry / organization / Institution.
Desirable: Experience in software development and maintenance/database administration / network management.

6. Public Relation Officer
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Public relations / Mass Communications and Journalism with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale OR Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in UGC 7 point scale and a Degree / Diploma in Public relations / Journalism / Media relations or equivalent.

7. Section Officer :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-1, SC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Graduate Degree in any discipline. (ii) Five Years’ Experience as Upper Division Clerk.
Desirable : Capacity to work in a fully computerized environment.

8. Private Secretary :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-1, OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Graduate Degree in any discipline. (ii) Five Years’ Experience as Upper Division Clerk.
Desirable : Capacity to work in a fully computerized environment.

9. Security Officer :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. (ii) At least 15 years experience in Police / Para – Military forces.

10. Assistant :
No of post : 05 Posts (UR-4, SC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) A Bachelor Degree from recognized University. ii) Three years experience as Upper Division Clerk.

11. Personal Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Graduate Degree in any discipline (ii) Shorthand speed of 80 wpm & English Type-writing speed 45 wpm

12. Senior Technical Assistant (Laboratory) :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-2)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in the relevant Science subjects with 55% or equivalent marks with two years experience OR BSc. in the relevant Science subject combination with 55% or equivalent marks and with five years experience in relevant Science Laboratory.
Desirable : Experience in handling laboratory equipment and computers

13. Senior Technical Assistant (Computer) :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. B.E / B.Tech Computer Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology or M.Sc Computer Science or MCA 2. Two years of experience in relevant field in Government / PSU or Reputed Private Organisation.

14. Professional Assistant (Library) :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Information science. ii) Five years relevant experience in a University / College Library.

15. Technical Assistant (Laboratory) :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-1, SC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Information science. ii) Two years relevant experience in a University / College Library.

16. Semi Professional Assistant (Library) :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Information science with two years relevant experience in a University / College Library.

17. Security Inspector :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University (ii) At least 10 years experience in Police / Para – Military forces / Armed Forces of the Union.

18. Upper Division Clerk :
No of post : 06 Posts (UR-4, OBC-1, SC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) A Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University. ii) Three years experience as Lower Division Clerk / Equivalent posts in Government / University/ PSU / Autonomous Bodies.

19. Library Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-1, SC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Information science. ii) One year relevant experience in a University/ College library.

20. Laboratory Assistant :
No of post : 05 Posts (UR-4, OBC-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Science subjects from recognized University. (ii) One year experience in relevant science laboratory in Government / University / PSU / Autonomous Bodies.
Desirable : Experience in handling laboratory equipment and computers.

21. Lower Division Clerk :
No of post : 14 Posts (UR-8, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200 to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) A Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University. ii) Type writing Lower / Junior grade in English speed of 30 wpm. iii) Proficiency in Computer Operations.
Desirable : Capacity to work in a fully computerized environment.
