Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Director/Dean/Principal in proposed ESIC Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Medical Colleges in various States for appointment on deputation / contract basis.

Director/Dean/Principal:
No. of Vacancy: 11 posts
Scale of Pay: Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,400-500-22,400/- + NPA (Pre-revised) and allowances. ESIC has adopted the Sixth Pay Commission & basic pay & other allowances shall be paid as admissible.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must possess minimum qualification as prescribed by Medical Council of India – minimum qualification for teachers in Medical Institute Regulations, 1998 and
MCI PG Medical Education Regulation, 2000 and its amendment 2005-06 (refer http://www.mciindia.org. for detailed information).
Age Limit: Not exceeding 64 years as on 29-06-2009.
MODE OF SELECTION:- The selection for the posts of Director/Dean/Principal will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board at the concerned ESIC Regional office of the State.
