Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, BMRCL. a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project. BMRCL invites qualified and experienced Officers for a walk-in-interview for appointments in key senior and middle level management positions on contract basis. The candidates experienced in working with Firms / Companies / Corporate bodies / Boards are preferred. The details of the posts are as follows:

A. Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer (Rolling Stock- Mechanical) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: BE / B.Tech / Equivalent (Mechanical) Pay Scale: PB-4 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8700. Minimum 10 years experience,
B. Dy. Chief Engineer (Electrical Services and Ventilation/ Air-conditioning) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B.E. / B.Tech. / Equivalent (Electrical and Mechanical). Pay Scale: PB-4 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8700. Minimum 10 years experience in maintenance/operation.
C. Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer (3rd Rail & SCADA) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B.E. / B.Tech. / Equivalent (Electrical / Electronics). Minimum 10 years experience in design/ construction/ operation / maintenance of general electrical service.
D. Dy. Chief Engineer (Signalling) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B.E. / B.Tech. / Equivalent (Electrical / Electronics). Pay Scale: PB-4 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8700. Minimum 10 years experience in design / construction / operation / maintenance of signaling infrastructure on a Railway system etc.
E. Dy. Chief Engineer (Designs) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B.E. / B. Tech. / Equivalent (Civil). Pay Scale: PB-4 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8700. Minimum 10 years experience out of which 3 years extensive involvement in designing of pre streessed concrete bridges.
F. Executive Engineer (Signalling) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B.E. / B.Tech / Equivalent (Electronics / Communications) Or B.Sc.
(Physics) / Diploma in Eletrical / equivalent. Pay Scale: PB-3 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600. Minimum 10 years experience in maintenance/operation.
G. Executive Engineer (Corridor) : 02 posts, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 52 years. Qualification & Experience: BE / B.Tech or equivalent. Pay Scale: PB-3 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600. Minimum 8 years experience with at least 4 years on the field experience in the construction of Concrete Bridges / fly overs / viaducts of which at least 2 years should be in pre stressed concrete section.
H. Executive Engineer (Underground) : 04 posts, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 52 years. Qualification & Experience: BE / B.Tech or equivalent. Pay Scale: PB-3 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600. Minimum 8 years experience, out of which at least 3 years experience in tunneling, underground powerhouses, diaphragm wall / sheet pile construction is a must.
J. Executive Engineer (Traction) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Electrical Engg / B.E. / B.Tech. / Equivalent in Electrical Engg. Pay Scale: PB-3 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600. Minimum 10 years experience out of which 3 years experience as Assistant Engineer or Section Engineer in design / construction / operation / maintenance of Electric Traction system. Persons having worked in similar fields on a Metro Railway / Suburban Rail system are preferred.
K. Executive Engineer (Architecture) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: B. Arch. Pay Scale: PB-3 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600. Minimum 8 years experience, out of which minimum 5 years in the design of stations, high rise buildings, malls, educational / IT complexes / public utility buildings, etc.
L. Asst. Executive Engineer (Traction) : 01 post, Age Limit: Age as on 01.04.2009 should not exceed 62 years. Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Electrical Engg / B.E. / B.Tech. / Equivalent in Electrical Engg. Pay Scale: PB-2 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.5400. Minimum 8 years out of which 3 years as section Engineer in design / construction / operation / maintenance of Electric Traction system. Persons having worked in similar fields on a Metro Railway / suburban Railway system are preferred.
