CIPET invites application from bright, dynamic and highly motivated Indian Nationals possessing excellent technical background in the areas of Tool Room, CAD/CAE, Testing, Processing and Design in the following non-supervisory positions.

A. Technician Gr – I: Pay Band:PB-2 Rs.5200-20200 (revised) Grade pay-Rs.2800. Pay scale: (Pre-revised) Rs.4500-125-7000. Salary, Perks & Allowances as admissible of Central Government Employees as per Sixth Pay Commission recommendation / CIPET rules. Qualification & experience: Diploma in Mech/Polymer/Plastic with 8 years experience in the relevant field / Diploma with PG Diploma in Tool / Die / CAD/CAM/CAE with 7 years experience in the relevant field/ Graduate with PG Diploma in Processing / Testing with 7 years experience in the relevant field.
B. Technician Gr – II: Pay Band:PB-2 Rs.5200-20200 (revised) Grade pay-Rs.2400 Pay scale: (Pre-revised) Rs.4000-100-6000. Salary, Perks & Allowances as admissible of Central Government Employees as per Sixth Pay Commission recommendation / CIPET rules. Qualification & experience: Diploma in Mech/Polymer/Plastic with 5 years experience in the relevant field / Diploma with PG Diploma in Tool / Die / CAD/CAM/CAE with 4 years experience in the relevant field/Graduate with PG Diploma in Processing / Testing with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
C. Technician Gr – III: Pay Band: PB-2 Rs.5200-20200 (revised) Grade pay-Rs.2000. Pay scale: (Pre-revised) Rs.3200-85-4900. Salary, Perks & Allowances as admissible of Central Government Employees as per Sixth Pay Commission recommendation / CIPET rules. Qualification & experience:  Diploma in Mech/Polymer/Plastic with 2 years experience in the relevant field / Diploma with PG Diploma in Tool / Die / CAD/CAM/CAE with 1 year experience in the relevant field / Graduate with PG Diploma in Processing / Testing with 1 year experience in the relevant field.

Note : Outstanding candidates having less or no experience shall be considered for the position of Technician Trainees. During the initial training period of one year, they shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.6000/- per month. After successful completion of training period, they shall be placed on contract for one year in the pay band 5200 – 20200 (Basic+GP+DA). On successful completion of the contract period, they shall be placed in the regular scale (Basic+GP+DA+Allowances) of pay.
