Inspectorate General of Prisons Goa, Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format here in below alongwith two copies of passport size photographs and supported by self attested copies of certificates of applicant’s birth, residence of last fifteen years, educational qualifications, relevant experience and valid employment registration. Such applications complete in all respects shall reach the Inspectorate General of Prisons, Government of Goa, Collectorate North, Panaji Goa latest by 10.10.2014 by 04:00 PM.

1. Junior Steno :
No of post : 02 Posts (P.H.-01, Unreserved-01)
Age Limit : Age limit for Reserved Category for the posts is relaxed in accordance with instructions / orders issued by the government from time to time as applicable.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5,200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Higher Secondary School Certificate from recognized institution. Speed of 100 w.p.m in short hand and 35 w.p.m in typewriting and preliminary training in word processing in data entry. Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi Language.

2. Lower Division Clerk :
No of post : 07 Posts (P.H.-01, Unreserved-03, Ex Ser. Man-01, OBC-01, ST-01)
Age Limit : Age limit for Reserved Category for the posts is relaxed in accordance with instructions / orders issued by the government from time to time as applicable.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5,200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Higher Secondary School Certificate from recognized institution. Knowledge of Konkani and Computer.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi Language.

3. Driver :
No of post : 06 Posts (P.H.-01, Unreserved-03, Ex Ser. Man-01, OBC-01)
Age Limit : Age limit for Reserved Category for the posts is relaxed in accordance with instructions / orders issued by the government from time to time as applicable.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5,200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Middle School or equivalent qualifications. Driving license for Light Vehicle. Unblemished experience of atleast 02 years in the line. Knowledge of Konkani Language.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi. Driving license for heavy vehicles.

4. Peon :
No of post : 05 Posts (P.H.-01, Unreserved-03, OBC-01)
Age Limit : Age limit for Reserved Category for the posts is relaxed in accordance with instructions / orders issued by the government from time to time as applicable.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 4,440 to 7400/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1300/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Middle School or equivalent qualifications. Knowledge of Konkani Language.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi Language.
