The Institute of Microbial Technology, IMT, A constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India, intends to engage the following Project Staff in the DBT / CSIR project entitled “Expansion and Modernization of Microbial Type Culture Collection and Gene Bank (MTCC)”. post : Lab Assistant, Office Assistant, System Analyst, Project Associate.

1. Lab Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 10.09.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000/- Per Month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist class in B.Sc Microbiology / Biotechnology or B.Sc Medical Lab Technology.
Desirable : Relevant experience in any laboratory.

2. Office Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 10.09.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- Per Month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist class Graduate degree with PG Diploma in computer applications.
Desirable : Experience in database inventory maintenance, taking care of office correspondence.

3. System Analyst :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 10.09.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16000/- Per Month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist class M.Sc / BE / B.Tech in computer sciences or MCA.
Desirable : One year experience in office and inventory maintenance in any reputed organization.

4. Project Associate :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 28 years as on 10.09.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- Per Month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ist class M.Sc Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences.
Desirable : Relevant experience to assist the scientists in identification and Freezedring of microbial cultures.
