Punjab National Bank, PNB, Candidates can apply for clerical vacancies for one State only, and have to appear for the examination from a centre of that particular State. For all other posts (except clerks), candidates willing to serve anywhere in India need to apply. PNB, a leading public sector bank invites application from Indian citizens for the Officer cadre and clerical Cadre :

A. Management Trainee : 351 posts , Pay Scale :  (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920), Age Limit : Should have age Above 20 Years below 28 Years as on 01/01/2009. Educational Qualifications : Any Graduate with 60% marks, OR equivalent qualification, and working knowledge of MS Office.
B. Security Officer : 22 posts, Pay Scale :   (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age Limit : Should have age 32 Years as on 01/01/2009. Qualification & experience : An officer with 05 years Commissioned Service in the Indian
Army/Navy/Air Force OR a Police officer not below the rank of Assistant Supdt of Police/Dy. Supdt of Police with 05 yeas of service OR Officers of identical work in Para-Military Forces with 05 year service.
C. Dy. Manager Financial Analyst : 08 posts , Pay Scale :  (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age Limit : Should have age 28 Years as on 01/01/2009. Educational Qualifications : Graduate of any recognized University. MBA with specialization in Finance OR PG Diploma in Banking and Finance from NIBM.
D. Dy. Manager Law : 05 posts, Pay Scale :   (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age Limit : Should have age 28 Years as on 01/01/2009. Qualification & experience : Graduate in Law from a University recognized by Govt of India. should have at least 02 years experience in the Bar as an advocate.
E. Dy. Manager (Economics) : 02 posts , Pay Scale :  (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age Limit : 28 years as on 01/01/2009. Educational Qualifications : Post-Graduate degree in Economics/Econometrics/ Agriculture Economics from a University recognized by Govt of India.
F. Clerks : 350 posts , Pay Scale :  (Clerical Grade Rs.4410-12310) in various states, Age Limit : Should have age Above 20 Years below 25 Years as on 01/01/2009. Educational Qualifications : Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks OR equivalent qualification, and working knowledge of MS Office.
Relaxation in Age : SC/ST- 5 years, OBC-3 years, Kashmir migrant -5 years, PH – 10 years and officers from rural bank-5 years.

Selection Procedure :
(i) The written test. 
(ii) Interview. All eligible candidates will be called for a written examination which will be both Objective and Descriptive in nature.
(iii) selection only for the post of Dy. Manager (Law) will be through Interview only.

c. Date of Written Examination for The Post Codes 02,03 & 05 16-08-2009.
d. Date of Written Examination (Preliminary) for The Post Management Trainee : 30/08/2009.
e. Date of Written Examination for The Post of Clerk: 20/09/2009.

2. For the post of Dy manager (Law) : Apply online as mentioned above and take a printout of the application and send it to the Dy. General Manager, Punjab National Bank, HRD Division, Head Office, 7, Bhikhaji Cama Place, New Delhi – 110066 on or before 08.07.2009.

Fees: General & OBC – Rs.400/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PC/EXsm candidates) for Officers and Rs.300/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PC/EXsm candidates) for the posts of Clerk. The application fee must be paid in cash, separately for each post at any branch of Punjab National Bank in the prescribed Cash voucher from.
