Rail Wheel Factory, RWF, Applications are invited from sports persons who have achieved medal-winning position in International / National events etc., in the prescribed format for the following sports disciplines in against Open Advertisement quota for the year 2013-14 in Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560064, Karnataka. post : Cricket Women, Cricket Men, Football Men, Hockey Men, Kabbadi Men, Tennis Men, Clerk-cum-Typist, Helpers and other Group ‘D’categories

” APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2013-14 IN RWF “

1. Cricket Women :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Under 19 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, representation of Main Indian Seniors Team in a Test Match or in a Limited Overs One Day International Match or in a Twenty-20 Overs Match., shall also be considered for recruitment. A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event / position / game advertised in which he / she has recognized sports norms.

2. Cricket Men :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 19 to 22 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, Cricket at National level, following sports achievements in 4 Days/ One Day Limited Overs/ Twenty-20 Overs Men/Women Cricket Championships (except Vizzy Trophy); organized under the aegis of BCCI; will also be considered for recruitment. A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event/position/game advertised in which he/she has recognized sports norms.

3. Football Men Goal Keeping :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Under 19 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event/position/game advertised in which he/she has recognized sports norms.

4. Hockey Men Forward :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Under 21 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event/position/game advertised in which he/she has recognized sports norms.

5. Kabbadi Men All-Rounder :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Under 19 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event/position/game advertised in which he/she has recognized sports norms.

6. Tennis Men :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Under 18 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : International level, A sportsperson can be considered for recruitment only for event/position/game advertised in which he/she has recognized sports norms.

7. Clerk-cum-Typist :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : The age limit for recruitment shall be 18-25 years as on 01.01.2014
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum SSC / Matriculation The sports person should pass the requisite type-writing test within a period of four years from the date of their appointment. The appointment will be treated as provisional till such time they pass the type-writing test and no promotion / increment will be granted.

8. Helpers and other Group ‘D’categories :
No of post : 05 Posts
Age Limit : The age limit for recruitment shall be 18-25 years as on 01.01.2014
Scale of Pay : PB-1 of Rs. 5200 to 20200/- per month with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Pass in Xth std. or ITI in relevant trade or its equivalent. As a special case, outstanding sports persons who are class-8 passed will be considered for recruitment

The application complete in all respects as per format given along with enclosures with two recent passport size photographs, one affixed at the top of the application on right side and one attached to the application with proof of date of birth certificate, educational qualification and achievements in sports events duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be sent by post addressed to Chief Personnel Officer, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064, Karnataka, so as to reach him on or before upto 17:00 Hrs of 25.11.2013.
