National Geophysical Research Institute, NGRI is a premier research Institute involved in multi disciplinary R&D programs in earth Science. It is playing a pivotal role in exploration for hydrocarbons, minerals and ground water resources, engineering geophysics, seismology and geodynamic studies. It has excellent facilities in all the above disciplines. Applications are invited for the following posts:
Technician Group II (1):
No of Post: 21 Posts (10 posts are Unreserved (out of them one for PH); 1 post reserved for SC; 5 Posts reserved for ST (out of them one for PH) and 5 Posts reserved for OBC (Non-creamy Layer)(out of them one for PH).
Scale of Pay: PB1 (Rs.5200-20200)(Grade Pay: Rs.1900)
Age Limit: Should not exceed 28 years as on 21-08-2009.
Essential Qualification & Experience: SSSC/HSC/12th with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent. Must have Knowledge in Computer operation. To assist the Scientists / Technical Officers in their day-to-day research work in the Laboratory and field.
