The Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous organization in the Ministry of Culture, Government of India is filling up six positions of Professor in the scale of pay of Rs.14300-450-22400 plus usual allowances as per Government of India rules for deputation and / or direct recruitment (including contract) for its Delhi office:
- Professor -Area Studies ( Sino Indian) in the Kalakosha Division
- Professor -Area Studies ( South East Asia) in the Kalakosha Division
- Professor – Area Studies (Central Asia) Kalakosha Division
- Professor – English and modern European languages in the Kalakosha Division
- Professor – Anthropology/ Ethnology/ Ethno archaeology in theJanapada Sampada Division
- Professor – Art History / Archaeology/ History in the Kaladarshana Division
- Age : Upper age limit shall be 55 years as on 01/01/08
- Qualifications : An eminent scholar with published work of highExperience quality and actively engaged in research work; 10 years of experience in teaching and/or research; experience of in guiding research at doctoral level OR an outstanding scholar of high repute who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
- Pay Scale : Rs.14300-450-22400/-
