Water & Land Management Institute, WALMI, Women and Physically Handicapped candidates will be given preference as per Rules. The candidates who are already in Universities/ Government service/Semi-Govt. service/Private Sectors undertaking must apply through proper channel. Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts:

A. Professor : 07 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.16400-22400,
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in second class followed by the Master’s Degree in First Class in relevant subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in First Class followed by Master’s Degree in First Class in relevant subjects.
(ii) Ph. D Qualification will be preferred. Govt./Semi-Govt. service Ten years experience of teaching, research or extension in group “A” post/Master’s Degree holders, Twelve Years experience/Ph.D. holders, Ten Years experience in the field of teaching, Age Limit: Open category candidate : Not More than (50) Years at the time of appointment. Reserved category candidate Not More than (55) Years at the time of appointment.
B. Associate Professor : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300, Educational Qualifications & Experience:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in second class followed by the Master’s Degree in First Class in relevant subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in First Class followed by Master’s Degree in First Class in relevant subjects.
(ii) Ph. D Qualification will be preferred. Govt. service/Semi-Govt. service Five years experience of teaching/Master’s Degree holders, Seven Years experience in the field of teaching/Ph.D. holders, Five Years experience in the field of teaching.
Age Limit: Open category candidate : Not More than (45) Years at the time of appointment. Reserved category candidate Not More than (50) Years at the time of appointment.
C. Assistant Professor : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500, Educational Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering /Information Technology followed by the Master’s Degree in Computer science /Computer Engineering/Information Technology. Ph. D Qualification will be preferred. As per UGC norms, Candidate should satisfy conditions for SET/ NET Examination and Candidate should have passed S.S.C. Board Examination with Marathi Subject. Candidate should have Two Years experience in teaching or actual field work.
Age Limit: Open category candidate : Not More than (33) Years at the time of appointment. Reserved category candidate Not More than (38) Years at the time of appointment.
