ISRO SATELLITE CENTRE [ISAC] is one of the major Research and Development Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] responsible for development of Satellite Technology. Over the years, ISAC has planned and executed several satellite missions of ISRO. Having successfully developed and deployed state-of-the-art operational satellites for Communication, Meteorology and Remote Sensing, the Centre is poised to leapfrog into development of advanced versions of satellites like Microwave Remote Sensing Satellites, Direct Broadcasting Satellites, Interplanetary probes, Scientific Missions, etc. Towards self-reliance, indigenous development of various advanced and critical technologies in the Satellite development activities are very essential. The Space programme in our country is focused on providing highly reliable operational services for socio-economic development of the country.

Medical Officer-SC : 01 Post, Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.5400 + 25% Non-Practicing Allowance on Basic Pay (Band Pay + Grade Pay), Approximate Gross Emoluments Rs.42,035/-,
Qualification: MBBS in First Class + 2 years experience after House Surgency/Internship, in a Government/Public Sector/Private Hospital. (If candidates with First Class are not available, candidates possessing Second Class will also be considered.), Age limit is 35 years as on 18-03-2009. (40 years in case of SC/ST and 38 years in the case of OBC candidates).

Junior Research Fellow : 02 P0sts, Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs. 12000/- per month + 30% HRA [For 1st and 2nd year], Rs. 14000/- per month + 30% HRA [For subsequent years],
Qualification : M.Sc (Mathematics) in First Class with 65% marks or above (aggregate of all semesters), Age limit is 30 years as on 18-03-2009.(35 years in case of SC/ST and 33 years in the case of OBC candidates).

A. Scientific/Technical Assistant : 01 (Post UR-1), Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4600, Approximate Gross Emoluments Rs.22,150/-,
Qualification : First Class B.Sc in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution. Age Limit is 35 years as on 18-3-2009 (40 years in the case of SC/ST and 38 years in case of OBC candidates).

B. Technical Assistan: 01 post (Identified for person suffering from hearing impairment), Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4600, Approximate Gross Emoluments Rs.22,150/-,
Qualification : First Class Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized Board/Institution. Age Limit is 35 years as on 18-3-2009 (40 years in the case of SC/ST and 38 years in case of OBC candidates).

C. Technical Assistan : 06 posts (UR-5,OBC-1), First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Board/ Institution. Age limit is 30 years as on 18-03-2009.(35 years in case of SC/ST and 33 years in the case of OBC candidates).

D. Technical Assistan : 01 post (OBC-1), First Class Diploma in Computer Science/Information Science from a recognized Board/Institution. Age limit is 30 years as on 18-03-2009.(35 years in case of SC/ST and 33 years in the case of OBC candidates).

E. Technical Assistan : 01 post (SC-1), First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Board/ Institution. Age limit is 30 years as on 18-03-2009.(35 years in case of SC/ST and 33 years in the case of OBC candidates).

The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 13/03/2009 to 31/03/2009. Nationalized Bank in favour of the Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore (SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee).

Fees: Rs.100/- in the form of any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore (SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee).
