Gujarat Ecological Education & Research, GEER, Foundation, Gandhinagar invites applications for the following posts under the World Bank funded India Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Project to be implemented in the Gulf of Kutch/ Khambhat region. Posts: Research Associate (Envt. Parameter), Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Envi. Parameter, Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Marine Fauna, Technical Assistant (Envt.Parameter), Technical Assistant (Marine Fauna), Technical Assistant (Marine Flora), Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant

1. Research Associate (Envt. Parameter) :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22,000/- per month + 10% HRA.
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD (Envt. Sci. / Life Sci.) or M.E / M.Tech (Envt. Engineer).

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Envi. Parameter :
No of post : 04 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- per month + 10% HRA (if not NET Qualified) Rs. 16,000 + 10% HRA (if NET qualified)
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Zoology / Marine Sci. / Life Sci.) from recognized university with Minimum 65% in M.Sc.

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Marine Fauna :
No of post : 03 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14,000/- per month + 10% HRA (if not NET Qualified) Rs. 16,000 + 10% HRA (if NET qualified)
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Zoology / Marine Sci. / Life Sci.) from recognized university with Minimum 65% in M.Sc.

4. Technical Assistant (Envt.Parameter) :
No of post : 03 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8,000/- per month + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc./ M.Sc.(Botany /Forestry) from recognized university with M.Sc. OR B.Sc. with Min. 60% marks

5. Technical Assistant (Marine Fauna) :
No of post : 05 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8,000/- per month + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc./ M.Sc.(Botany /Forestry) from recognized university with M.Sc. OR B.Sc. with Min. 60% marks

6. Technical Assistant (Marine Flora) :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8,000/- per month + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc./ M.Sc.(Botany /Forestry) from recognized university with M.Sc. OR B.Sc. with Min. 60% marks.

7. Laboratory Technician :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16,000/- per month + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Life Sci./Analytical Chemistry/ Envt.Sci. / Biotechnology) from recognized university.

8. Laboratory Assistant :
No of post : 05 posts
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,000/- per month + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc./ M.Sc.(Life Sci. / Analytical Chemistry / Envt. Sci./Biotechnology) from recognized university.
