Banaras Hindu University, BHU, APPLICATIONS are invited from the Indian Citizen on the prescribed form for the posts of Registrar, Librarian, Lecturers and Group ‘A’, ‘C’ & ‘D’ Non-teaching posts as per the following details:

Lecturers, Registrar, Librarian : The appointment of Registrar shall be made for a tenure of 5 years (which may be renewed further for similar terms) or till the age of superannuation whichever is earlier OR on substantive basis depending upon the rules prevalent at the time of appointment. + Initially upto 31.3.2010 The Lecturer is likely to be re-designated as Assistant Professor on the implementation of the Sixth Pay Revision.

Application form along with detailed instructions can be downloaded from our website : http//www.bhu.ac.in or can be had from the Office of the Registrar (Recruitment & Assessment Cell), Holkar House, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221005 (India) on request accompanying a self addressed envelope (size 10.5” x 4.5”) duly affixed postal stamp of Rs. 35/-. The duly filled in application forms complete in all respects along with a MICR Coded demand draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University payable at S.B.I., BHU Branch (Code 0211), Varanasi must reach the Office of the Registrar (Recruitment & Assessment Cell), Holkar House, BHU, Varanasi – 221005 (India) on or before 20-06-2009.

Fees: Demand draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University payable at S.B.I., BHU Branch (Code 0211), Varanasi – UP.

Last Date of Application Submission:  20-06-2009.
