01. Additional Director
No. of Vacancy:  02 posts (01 SC & 01 UR), Classification Group ‘A’ Non-Ministerial,
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,300-400-18,300/-.
Age:- Up to 50 years,
Educational & other qualification and experience:- (i) Masters’ degree in Science or equivalent or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent. (ii) Experience in different aspects of Environmental Management, Pollution Control such as Ambient and source specific Monitoring, Analysis & characterization of Wastes, Development of standards, Environmental Impact Assessment, Pollution Related Research and Development and Design and Operation  of Pollution Control Systems; (iii) 15  years experience after Master’s Degree in Science or equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology or  equivalent. Note: For Doctorates in the relevant disciplines, the requirement of the length of experience shall be reduced by 5 years.

02.  Scientist ‘C’ –
No. of Vacancy: 01 post (UR), Physically Handicaped can also apply.
Scale of Pay:– Rs. 10,000-325-15,200/-.
Age:- Up to 40 years
Educational qualification & experience:- (i) Master’s degree in Science in Analytical Chemistry in first class, from any recognised  University/ Institution; and (ii) 8 years experience in pollution control or related subjects in an organisation/ institution of repute. OR (i) Doctorate in Science from a recognised University/ Institution; and (ii) 5 years experience in pollution control or related subjects in an organisation / institution of repute.

03. Environmental Engineer-
No. of Vacancy: 01 post (UR) Hearing/ Orthopadically Handicapped can also apply.
Scale of pay: – 10,000-325-15,200/-,.
Age:- up to 40 years,
Educational qualification & experience:- Essential (i) Bachelor’s Degree  in Chemical Engineering in first class from a recognized University or Institution with atleast 4 years experience in Pollution Control or  related subject OR Master’s degree in environmental/ Public Health Engineering with atleast 2 years experience in pollution control or related subject.

04. Assistant Environmental Engineer-
No. of Vacancy: 10 posts ( 02 OBC, 01 OH/HH & 07 UR),
Scale of pay Rs. 8,000-275-13,500/-.
Age:- upto 35 years.
Qualification:- Degree in Engineering in Chemical, Environmental, Mining, Mechanical, Biotechnology  or Civil Engineering in first class from a recognized University or Institution. Desirable (i) Experience in pollution control (ii) Master’s Degree in Engineering.

05. Scientist ‘B’ –
No. of Vacancy: 01 post (UR) Physically Handicapped can also apply.
Scale of pay Rs. 8,000-275-13,500/-.
Age:- upto 35 years.
Educational qualification and experience: (i) Master’s degree in Science in Analytical Chemistry in first class from recognized University/Institution. (ii) Atleast  3 years experience in the pollution control or related subjects in an Organization/Institution of repute.

06. Senior Scientific Assistant
No. of Vacancy: 06 posts (01 SC, 02 OBC & 03 UR) Physically Handicapped can also apply.,
Scale of pay Rs. 5,500-175-9,000/-,
Age:- upto 35 years.
Educational and other qualifications and experience: (i) Master’s degree in Science with two years relevant experience in the line, preferably in pollution control and related subjects in any Organization/Institution of repute.

07. Junior Scientific Assistant
No. of Vacancy: 07 posts (01 SC, 02 OBC & 04 UR) Physically Handicapped can also apply.,
Scale of pay: Rs. 5000-150-8000/-
Age: Up to 30 years,
Educational and Other Qualifications Required : (i) Essential:- A Degree in Science (ii) Experience:- Four years of experience in the line, preferably in Pollution Control or related subjects, (iii) Desirable: – Master’s degree in Science.

08. Senior Technician
No. of Vacancy: 01 post (UR)
Scale of pay: Rs. 5000-150-8000/-
Age: Up to 30 years;
Educational and Other Qualifications Required:– (i)Essential:-Diploma in Electrical Engineering (ii)Desirable :- One year experience in relevant field.

09. Junior Technician
No. of Vacancy: 02 post (01 SC & 01UR)
Scale of pay: Rs. 4000-100-6000/-
Age: Between 18 and 25 years,
Educational and Other Qualifications Required: (i) 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ institution, (ii) Certificate from ITI in the trade of electrical or electronics (iii) three years experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization/ institution of repute.

10. Environmental Engineer
No. of Vacancy: 01 post
Scale of pay :Rs. 10,000-325-15,200/-.
Eligibility:- Officers of the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations or Central/State Autonomous or Statutory Bodies,
(a) i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR ii) Having atleast 5 years of regular service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 8000-275-13,500/- or equivalent; and (b) Possessing a degree in Engineering and having experience in pollution control and related subjects for at least 5 years.

11. Senior Scientific Assistant
No. of Vacancy:04 posts
Scale of pay:- Rs. 5500-175-9000/-.
Eligibility:-Officers of the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations or Central/State Autonomous or Statutory Bodies,
(a) i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR ii) Having atleast 5 years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5000-150-8000/- or equivalent; and (b) Possessing a Master’s Degree in Science with two years relevant experience in the line, preferably in Pollution Control & related subjects in any organization/institution of repute.

12. Pump & Wheel Valve Operator
No. of Vacancy: One post
Scale of Pay of Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-.
Eligibility:-Officials of the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations or Central/State Autonomous or Statutory Bodies,
(a) Holding analogous posts or lower post, and  (b) Possessing Certificate from ITI in the trade of Instrument Mechanic/Machinist/Motor Mechanic with 2 years practical experience OR 10th Standard pass with 5 years experience in handling E&M plants including maintenance knowledge of different types of IC Engines and Electric motors in an organization/Institution of repute.
