Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences & Technology, SKUAST, Eligible candidate may apply Applications on prescribed forms are invited for the following positions :
 
i. Assoc. Dean/Professor/Chief Scientist : 17 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 16400-22400, Essential Qualification & Experience: Doctorate degree in any branch of Agriculture/ Veterinary Science or allied Sciences. 15 years experience of teaching and research of which 7 years should be in the rank of Professor. Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years, as on 01-01-2008 upper age limit relax-able in case of persons already in employment of the University and for the post of Director/Professor or equivalent.
ii. Estates Officer : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400-20000, Essential Qualification & Experience: Doctorate degree in the subject concerned, 12 years teaching and/or research experience (not below the rank of Assistant Professor) in the concerned subjects, out of which 5 years should be in the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent. Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years, as on 01-01-2008 upper age limit relax-able in case of persons already in employment of the University and for the post of Director/Professor or equivalent.
iii. Associate Professor/Sr. Scientist : 15 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300, Essential Qualification & Experience: Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. 7 years experience of teaching and/or research in the subject concerned out of which four years should be in the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years, as on 01-01-2008 upper age limit relax-able in case of persons already in employment of the University and for the post of Director/Professor or equivalent.
iv. Programme Coordinator : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300, Essential Qualification & Experience: Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. 7 years experience of teaching and/or research in the subject concerned out of which four years should be in the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years, as on 01-01-2008 upper age limit relax-able in case of persons already in employment of the University and for the post of Director/Professor or equivalent.
v. Assistant Professor/Junior Scientist /SMS : 24 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500, Essential Qualification & Experience: Doctorate degree in the subject concerned, 7 years experience of teaching and/or research in the subject concerned out of which four years should be in the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years, as on 01-01-2008 upper age limit relax-able in case of persons already in employment of the University and for the post of Director/Professor or equivalent.

Sciences & Technology of Jammu, Main Campus, Chatha by or before 25th of August, 2009 upto 5 p.m.

Fees: Rs.300/- (Non-refundable) in the shape of Demand Draft, pledged to Comptroller SKUAST-J and payable at Jammu. While making request for the application forms by post a self addressed envelope (25 cm x 30 cm) duly stamped (Rs.30/-) should be enclosed.
